Reference electrode – Saturated Calomel Electrode – SCE

We offer Saturated Calomel electrodes as Reference electrode. Select the length from 103mm and 120mm. Regarding the higher and lower diameters, it is the same, 8 mm.

Mercuric Oxide, Mercury Sulfate and Silver / Silver Chloride electrodes

You will also find in our website the following reference electrodes Hg/HgO, Hg/Hg2SO4 and Ag/AgCl.

Discover below all our electrodes.

You'll also find on our website our Glass Cells, and Cells Accessories for all your needs.

Saturated Calomel Electrode (SCE), Mercuric Oxide, Mercury Sulfate or Silver / Silver Chloride, pick your choice.

Salt-bridge junction

Salt-bridge junction

During measurement, the salt-bridge junction prevents the reference electrode from being contaminated by the media and vice-versa. It consists of a glass tube terminated by a liquid junction.

Micro-electrodes

Micro-electrodes
Micro-electrodes are made of metallic wires or small diameter fibers (10-200 μm) sealed in tempered glass bodies. OrigaLys offers micro-electrodes of Gold (Au), Palladium (Pd), Platinum (Pt), Silver (Ag), Iridium (Ir), Titanium (Ti) and Tungsten (W).

Temperature probe

Temperature probe

For pH measurements and measurements with ion-selective electrodes and conductivity cells, use of a temperature sensor is recommended because temperature affects the results.

Reference Electrode

Reference Electrode

A reference electrode provides a stable potential whatever the measurement conditions. The main differences between reference electrodes are the type of reference system and the liquid junction. OrigaLys offers electrodes using calomel (Hg), silver-silver chloride (Ag/AgCl), mercuric oxide (Hg/HgO) and mercury sulfate (Hg/Hg2SO4).

Auxiliary/Counter-electrode

Auxiliary/Counter-electrode

Glass electrodes from OrigaLys are made with highly shock-resistant glass, making them extremely tough. The average lifetime of a correctly maintained glass electrode is approximately 2 years. Electrodes are always used in combination with reference electrodes. The voltammetry electrodes contains Platinum (Wire, Disc and Plate) and Silver (Rod) sensing elements.

pH

pH

To meet your analysis needs, combined pH electrodes are available with a variety of lengths, diameters and reference systems.

Combined

Combined

OrigaLys’ electrode range features combined metal electrodes with platinum sensing element. Combined metal electrodes can be used for redox measurements, redox titrations or potentiometric techniques.

Selective

Selective

The use of ion-selective electrodes constitutes a quick and cost-effective method of determining ionic activity. OrigaLys offers Calcium, Fluoride and Nitrate selective electrodes.

Conductivity

Conductivity

Origalys provides 2-pole cell, which has a traditional design based on two plates of carbon. It is ideal for routine measurement of conductivity and for use with a sample changer due to the easy rinsing.
